2009 Book Awards Wrap-Up

With the arrival of fall, that means that many of literature’s Best of… awards come to light.  So far, we know who’s won the Nobel Prize for literature (Herta Muller, a German/Romanian novelist and poet) and the Man Booker Prize (Wolf Hall by Hilary Mantel), and the National Book Awards have just announced their shortlist for 2009, which you can see here.  The Pulitzer Prize will be announced early next year.
